Tom Coates of [plasticbag.org](http://www.plasticbag.org/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) has dug up an [old piece of journalism](http://www.plasticbag.org/archives/2003/07/keith%5Fwaterhouse%5Fon%5Fweblogs%5Fredux.shtml?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) by Keith Waterhouse telling people how to write opinion columns in newspapers. It’s amazing how much of it can also be applied to blogging. I’ve said for a little while that most blogging is little more than uncontrolled examples of columns found in the op-ed pages of newspapers. This seems to prove the point.
