I’ve been trying to track down other South East London bloggers, just to read what people nearby are saying. I’ve had a little success, and the blogs are listed under Local Linkage in the right hand column here. Casino Avenue writes about the joy that is [local commuting](http://www.casino-avenue.co.uk/2003%5F10%5F01%5Farchive.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com#106573061121580613), Everything Hurts about the recent [post strike](http://everythinghurts.typepad.com/blog/2003/10/royal%5Fmail%5Fstri.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) and Empty about [his rather odd stigmata](http://empty.typepad.com/empty/2003/10/praise%5Fme.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com). Transport, post and spontaneous outbreaks of bleeding are clearly where this patch of London’s at right now. Marvellous.

While I know then internet is all about connecting with people all over the world, once in a while it’s nice to connect with people up the road, too.
