# Feed me Lewisham news

I’m finally becoming better informed about what’s happening in my own neighnourhood. Why? I found a useful [feed](http://www.local-news.net/go/-0.02/51.45/rss/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com "Local News Feed") of [news](http://local-news.net/go/-0.02/51.45/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com "Lewisham Local News") from Lewisham.

For example, through this feed I now know that the Lewisham branch of Cancer Research UK is [being plagued by shoplifters](http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/topstories/display.var.487894.0.at%5Fmercy%5Fof%5Fthieves.php?ref=onemanandhisblog.com "At the Mercy of Shoplifters"). My father died of cancer a couple of years ago, and I’ve been donating all my unwanted goods to the shop since then. This news, to put it mildly, pisses me off.
