For those still paying attention, Six Apart has [clarified and modified](http://www.sixapart.com/log/2004/05/movable%5Ftype%5F30.shtml?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) some of its licensing conditions on MT3 based on the feedback the firm has received.

Of course, some people will characterise this as back-pedalling or panic, but I’ve always thought a company should be judged by how well it responds to negative feedback. This strikes me as a pretty fair response.
