# More on Digital Doorstepping

The *Media Guardian* had a look at the [Digital Doorstepping issue](http://media.guardian.co.uk/mediaguardian/story/0,,2063111,00.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) on Monday. (I’m [reliably informed](http://www.spaaace.com/cope?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) that doorstepping is the act of going house to house in serach of reaction, doorstopping is where you’re getting to the point of physically stopping somebody shutting the door.) The article is, unsurprisingly, somewhat ambivalent about the whole issue.

However, a comment [Jackie](http://jackiedanicki.com/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) left on [Antony’s blog](http://open.typepad.com/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) highlighted just how [insensitive and intrusive](http://open.typepad.com/open/2007/04/wikipedia%5Fthe%5Fw.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com#comment-67537548) it can be:
