He’s put up a post on [the role of the production journalist as we move into a web-centric publishing model](http://fallingoffablog.typepad.com/falling%5Foff%5Fa%5Fblog/2009/02/the-web-production-desk.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com), and it’s quite thought-provoking.

In all honesty, it’s probably the part of the existing journalism infrastructure I’ve done the least thinking about, and so I’m enjoying seeing a debate opening up. I see one of the [Engine Room](http://engineroomblog.blogspot.com/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) bloggers has already [joined in](http://fallingoffablog.typepad.com/falling%5Foff%5Fa%5Fblog/2009/02/the-web-production-desk.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com#comment-6a00d83451d98569e20105371ff983970b)….

\* I am being a touch unfair here – he has a reasonably active internal blog. 🙂\*
