# Now We Are Six...

It’s my blogday today – it’s been six years since I started *One Man & His Blog*. And it’s interesting how going back through each “anniversary” post gives me a picture of how much I’ve learnt along the way:

**2003**: My first post was terrible – [over-written, over self-important and just embarrassing](http://www.onemanandhisblog.com/archives/2003/03/and%5Fso%5Fit%5Fbegin.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com).  
**2004**: I marked my surprise at making a year, with [some evidence that I was still learning](http://www.onemanandhisblog.com/archives/2004/03/one%5Fyear%5Fago%5Fto.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com)  
**2005**: The anniversary went unmarked this year – but there was a rather [nice snowy picture](http://www.onemanandhisblog.com/archives/2005/03/halesworth%5Fin%5Ft.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com)  
**2006**: I was going through a bad patch – I didn’t post on the 5th, and when I did post [it was an apology](http://www.onemanandhisblog.com/archives/2006/03/still%5Falive%5F2.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com)  
**2007**: An anniversary post brought [an old friend to my blog](http://www.onemanandhisblog.com/archives/2007/03/happy%5Fblogday%5Ft.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com)  
**2008**: I posted three times that day, and two of those [were videos](http://www.onemanandhisblog.com/archives/2008/03/aborted%5Fplane%5Flanding.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com)

I rather hope I’ll make it to a decade now…
