We’ve had the digital exodus from *The Guardian*.

We’ve had the dethroning of \[Will Lewis\](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William\_Lewis\_%28journalist%29 "William Lewis (journalist)") at \*The Telegraph\*.

And now, \[The Guardian\](http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/organgrinder/2010/may/13/times-paywall-job-cuts) and \[journalism.co.uk\](http://blogs.journalism.co.uk/editors/2010/05/14/mediaguardian-news-international-to-cut-80-staff-as-more-digital-execs-leave-telegraph/) are reporting redundancies at The Times as the paywall goes up, and further departures from The Telegraph. 

Anyone get the feeling that the internal political battle for the future of our national newspapers is really heating up?
