# An aside on blog platforms

I’m still pondering where next, technology-wise, for this blog. I’ve been watching the [conversation around static](http://inessential.com/2011/03/16/a%5Fplea%5Ffor%5Fbaked%5Fweblogs?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) versus [dynamic rendering](http://inessential.com/2011/04/04/more%5Fagain%5Fagain%5Fon%5Fthe%5Fstatic%5Fweblogs%5Ft?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) of pages that’s cropped up here and there, and I’m inclined to think I’d be happiest with static rendering of the main content, with dynamic commenting.
