A glorious morning. Not because of the weather — it’s foggy and cold — but because I got to walk to the station for the first time in over a year. Yes, the [Adur Ferry Bridge](http://m.adur-worthing.gov.uk/shoreham-footbridge/index.html?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) is [open](http://www.shorehamherald.co.uk/news/top-stories/latest/video-adur-ferry-bridge-opening-1-5678550?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) and my mornings of guilty car journeys to the station – or unpredictable shuttle bus rides – are done.

This morning walk across the river and up through town to the station was one of the things I loved about living here — and now it’s back.
