It’s not often that you start your working week with 10 free songs, but apparently I was one of the earliest people to sign up for an iTunes account in the UK when the [iTunes store launched here a decade ago](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/3805565.stm?ref=onemanandhisblog.com).

Sadly, I’m now a middle-aged father with precious little spare time, and have no idea what the good current music is. Any recommendations?
