# IFTTT: the natural successor to Yahoo Pipes

Paul Bradshaw reminds us that [IFTTT](https://ifttt.com/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com) is the [natural inheritor of Yahoo Pipes’s mantle](http://onlinejournalismblog.com/2015/06/10/the-drawn-out-death-of-yahoo-pipes-and-the-steady-rise-of-ifttt/?ref=onemanandhisblog.com):
