Interhacktives wins best student specialist publication Paid Members Public
I’m extremely proud to say that the Interhacktives [http://www.interhacktives.com] — students on the MA Interactive Journalism at City, University of London — won an award over the weekend. The Student Publication Association [http://spajournalism.com] held their annual conference and awards – and my students took home a prize:

Talking about your first Mac is A Thing right now. It’s because it’s the Mac’s 30th anniversary [http://gigaom.com/2014/01/24/apple-celebrates-30th-anniversary-of-mac-with-video-and-redesigned-homepage/] , and everyone’s getting terribly excited about the whole thing. I can’t claim to have been a Mac user for 30 years.
