Apple News: 40m users

Well, here’s an interesting fact from Apple’s earnings call this evening:

During its Q4 2015 earnings call today, Tim Cook revealed the first numbers for its new Apple News service saying that the app has around 40 million users since launching alongside iOS 9 in September.

We’ve no idea how they’re measuring that – but it still bears watching.
