Dad and I

10 years ago today, I lost my Dad. That’s him with me back in 2001 in the top picture, and as a much younger man in 1966 in the bottom one. A handful of days [after 9/11](http://www.onemanandhisblog.com/archives/2011/09/10_years_ago_1.html), cancer took him from us, and my view of the world was turned upside down again. And I couldn’t let the day pass without noting it (and I wrote about him earlier in the year, [on Father’s Day](http://adam.tinworth.org/2011/06/hey-dad-still-missing-you.html)). 
There’s a third “decade” anniversary to come in a few weeks. And it’s a much happier one…
